What is MOLY EP INDUSTRIAL?
In a few special applications, pressures become extreme enough to force any petroleum lubricant from between contact areas. Molybdenum disulfide, when plated out on the metal surfaces, can withstand up to 500,000 psi. Moly forms a very thin film on the metal surfaces and helps reduce wear and friction, thereby reducing heat build-up which helps to reduce scuffing, galling, and roughening of metal surfaces.
